SETHLANS D2 BLACK

EXTREMA RATIO SETHLANS is a fixed blade knife designed to deal with a wide range of situations, suitable for survival, bushcraft, emergency preparedness and as a spare blade. SETHLANS was designed in collaboration with Daniele Dal Canto, Master Advanced Instructor. SETHLANS is available in two different versions with two different types of steel. The stone wash finish version is produced from Böhler N690 steel heat treated to 58 HRC, chosen for its reliability due to its oxidation resistance and edge retention. The black version is produced from D2 steel heat and cryogenically treated to 60 HRC, which exhibits great reweldability even with rough tools. To give greater hardness and durability, the blade is coated with the new Teflon product “ EXP DARK ”, recommended by Extrema Ratio. The knife comes with G10 handles featuring Extrema Ratio's ergonomic design. They can be removed to reveal the skeletonized structure of the knife, which allows for maximum lightness with minimum thickness. For fans of extreme customization, the full-tang construction allows the handle to be covered with paracord. The holster consists of a very light and minimalist Kydex section. It can be disassembled and adjusted for both right-handed and left-handed users. The addition of an optional belt clip allows the knife to be mounted both vertically and horizontally, making the sheath much more versatile than the cloth version. It also has a MOLLE system mini-holster, containing a double-sided sharpening stone and a fire starter.
