SATRE S600 BLACK
The Satre is a compact, lightweight and extremely durable knife with a fixed blade. Given its features, it can be used in a variety of activities and fields, such as survival and bushcraft, or be part of an EDC (Every Day Carry) kit. Designed in collaboration with Daniele Dal Canto, Master Advanced Instructor. It can be worn as a neck knife thanks to the Paracord 550 strap. This way, it can be kept upright with the handle facing down. The preformed Kydex holster has holes, allowing both the strap and accessory holder to be attached. The ULTICLIP transport solution will be available from January 2022 (extremaratio.com only). This allows the holster to be attached not only to belts, but also to pockets, trousers, jackets, shirts and t-shirts. The ULTICLIP allows the knife to be positioned vertically or horizontally and allows easier use for left and right handed users. All three versions of the Satre come with a black case. The Desert Case can be purchased as an extra. Full-tang construction with bone construction allows the knife to be customized using Paracord as a handle cover. The Satre is available in three versions with two different types of steel: The Black and Stone Washed versions are made of Böhler N690 steel heat treated to 58 HRC. This material was chosen for its resistance to oxidation, its edge strength and especially for its reliability, which has been proven over the years. The Black S600 is made from Böhler S600 steel. This steel is used to make metal tools and mold making tools. It has excellent properties of hardness, wear resistance and durability thanks to the presence of molybdenum, tungsten and a significant amount of vanadium in its chemical composition. The presence of cobalt stimulates the growth of small exceptionally distributed carbides, which enhance wear resistance. Satre S600 is heat and cryogenically treated to achieve an exceptional hardness of 64 HRC. This also makes it very wear resistant and gives the edge a lasting precision. Böhler S600 steel has 4.5% chromium, which makes it oxidizable. For this reason, Extrema Ratio has chosen the new EXP DARK surface. For its excellent hardness and resistance to wear and abrasion, this steel is not easy to sharpen. We recommend using our Double Sharpener to keep the edge of the Satre super sharp at all times.
